USA – Federal court on insurance coverage for flight cancellation on account of government-imposed COVID-19 stay-at-home orders
On 9 February 2022, the Federal Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit affirmed a district court’s judgment dismissing a claim filed by a policy holder who had argued that his insurer breached its contract insofar as it failed to pay him for having cancelled his flight because of government-imposed COVID-19 stay-at-home orders.
