Stockton Council’s decision to revoke a pub’s licence has recently been confirmed by the High Court of Leeds after a two-year-long legal battle.
According to the Courts, the pub was repeatedly opened during the pandemic despite Covid-19 restrictions. The pub owner had decided to not comply with governmental measures as he considered them to violate human rights.
