On 2 March 2023, a court in Singapore fined a man who, during the pandemic, had tried to enter into a food court by showing a screenshot of an app containing vaccination information instead of the real content of the app.
The man was not vaccinated at a time when vaccination was required to enter the food court. Therefore, he acquired a screenshot of the app with information not related to him and tried to show it to the manager of the food court. The manager, however, discovered the cheating by trying to refresh the page of the app.
The defendant was fined on account of attempted cheating.
