vaccine

On 12 December 2022, the Zweibrücken Higher Regional Court in Germany has ruled that a 15-year-old girl has the right to decide about her own health and be vaccinated against the coronavirus, despite her mother’s opposition.

Also, the girl had not been living with her mother for almost three years at her own request.

The court found that the adolescent has the right to self-determination and that her mother had abused her custody rights by denying her the right to be vaccinated. The decision cannot be challenged.
