On 23 March 2022, the Administrative Court of First Instance of Monastir accepted the urgent appeal of employees against the administrative provision of the Governor of the Education of Al Mahdya which required the suspension from work because they did not have a COVID-19 vaccination pass (see joint cases n.6200461 n.6200464 and n.6200465). 

According to the applicants, the measures issued for suspension from work in the absence of a vaccination pass violate the principle of proportionality contained in Article 49 of the Tunisian Constitution. The Court accepted the request since the effects of this provision would have created serious consequences that would be difficult to remedy subsequently and retroactively.
